O'Hara Corporation operates three factory trawlers that fish in the Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands and Gulf of Alaska. Our products are shipped to domestic US markets and to foreign markets in both Europe and Asia.

The O'Hara vessels catch, process and freeze-at-sea various species of Alaskan ground fish such as Pacific cod, yellowfin sole, flathead sole, rocksole and pollock. Our fisheries are among the healthiest and best managed in the world. Alaska fisheries are conservatively managed by the federal government, which maintains fish stocks by setting harvest levels well below the Allowable Biological Catch (ABC).

The crews employed by O'Hara Corporation hail from all regions of the United States. Crew sizes range from 24 to 32 persons depending on the fishing season and vessel needs. The Seattle, WA office handles personnel needs and questions. Applications will be considered as positions become available. Positions onboard our vessels include factory workers (processors), factory supervisors, deck hands, cooks, engineers, mates and captains. If you are interested in employment on the O'Hara vessels you must apply in person. The Seattle office conducts interviews and orientations.

O'Hara vessels are very competitive in the market place due to their fast and efficient catching and processing of wild Alaskan fish. We strive to produce only the highest quality products for our customers.
